PREAMBLE

These conditions are agreed between Amor Tejo. Lda. With registered office at Rua de Santiago no. or legal person wishing to make a purchase through the Amortejo brand website www.amortejo.pt, messages, mail or e-mail, hereinafter referred to as “User”.

2. RIGHT NOT TO ACCEPT ORDER OR CANCEL PURCHASE
Amortejo reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason. We also reserve the right to cancel any purchase in the following situations, exempt from liability for any damages or costs:
– The product is no longer available / in stock (payments will be returned);
– The billing information is not correct or can be verified;
– The transfer for payment of the order was not received by us within a period of 5 working days after the acceptance of your order;

3. SECURITY

4. PRICES

Price errors
Our website is updated with extreme care, however it is possible that the price information on the website contains errors. Amortejo.pt does not commit to the offer and reserves the right to cancel your order, in the event of such an error occurring.

5. SHIPPING OF THE PRODUCT AND DELIVERY
Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive a confirmation email, the assigned shipping number and a link so that he can track the order on the carrier’s website. Attempting to track the order online upon receipt of the shipping confirmation email may not return any results. In fact, shipping information can take up to 24 hours after receipt of the shipment confirmation to be updated on the carrier’s website.
Orders are delivered Monday through Friday, with the exception of local or national holidays, to the address the customer indicates when placing orders. An delivery attempt will be made by a courier of the chosen carrier at the address indicated by the customer.

NOTICE: It is not possible to choose a specific delivery time, as it will be conditioned by the route defined by the carrier for the courier on the day of delivery.

The provision of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address may result in its return to Amortejo (Amor Tejo, Lda.), Resulting in additional costs for the customer, so we recommend that the customer always make sure that the delivery address indicated when registering of the order is effectively correct and complete. Once the order has been processed, it is not possible to change the delivery address or the billing data you have specified.
If the customer chooses the CTT Points service, the order will be sent to the collection point that he chose when he finished it. On the business day following the shipment, the recipient will receive an SMS at the mobile phone number you have indicated for delivery, stating that it is available for pick-up. The recipient has 10 days to collect the order. After this period, the order will be returned to us. This service is only available for orders up to 5 kg.

6. DELIVERY INSPECTION
Upon delivery, you should check the packaging and the product shipped in order to check for any damage. If you find that the products are damaged, you should not accept delivery of the order, which must be returned immediately. The Amortejo.pt online store will refund the amounts paid for the order and shipping as soon as, at your warehouse, you receive and complete the return process.
The order is considered accepted if, after receiving the order, it is not returned within the next 15 days.

7. RETURN INFORMATION
If your return is justified by the existence of a defect in the ordered products, Amortejo will bear the costs of shipping and return and in accordance with the product analysis made by the brand. If your return was made for reasons other than the justified existence of a defect in the ordered products, we will not refund the shipping costs.

Refunds will be made based on the payment method. If the customer pays by ATM reference, it is necessary for the customer to give his bank details to our Customer Support, at the moment he starts the return process. This indication is necessary so that we can refund the money to your account. The customer will receive a refund after the product (s) have been returned and processed.

8. AVAILABILITY
The satisfaction of all orders placed on our website is subject to availability. Amortejo tries to ensure that all items offered for sale on the website are in stock. However, we reserve the right not to accept any orders or cancel orders already confirmed for products that no longer have stock. In this case, we will inform the customer of this fact and proceed with the refund of the amount paid. The maximum period for receiving the refund is 14 days.

9. ORDER PROCESS
We take the necessary precautions to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of the products presented on the website are correct. However, we reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been incorrectly published, including prices and promotions.

Refusing orders can also be the result of other reasons such as:

Amortejo may change prices without prior notice. All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the legal rate in force.
After finalizing your online order, an email message will be sent to the address provided by the customer for this purpose, with confirmation of receipt of your order.

The present general conditions and all emerging disputes related to these general conditions, including their validity, the use of the website or any purchase on it must be governed by Portuguese law.

13. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Cancellation of orders after payment and before it is dispatched is possible at Amortejo.pt. To do this, you must make your cancellation request via email geral@amortejo.pt providing us with your order code. The refund of your purchase will be made using the same payment method you used, except Multibanco Reference and collection charges in which the customer must provide the NIB for transfer. The repayment term is between 5 to 14 working days.
